Lambing Experience

Experience the magic of spring at Sacrewell. In 2024, lambing returns and we’re excited to let you know after the success of last year, our lambing experiences will be back!
Throughout Easter the livestock team will be bottle-feeding our cade (orphan) lambs but if you’d like to get hands-on and try this for yourself, we have a unique experience just for you.
To ensure the welfare of our lambs, we are inviting families and small groups of people to book a lambing experience. You will have the chance to get up close with our cade lambs and give them their feed.

Easter at Sacrewell
29th March – 14th April
Gather the whole family and head to Sacrewell, there’s lots of Easter holiday fun to be had!
Join us as we welcome new life on the farm… this Spring we are expecting many lambs, eight goat kids, a calf and piglets! Visit our newest additions and enjoy a family fun day out.
And if you’re looking for more egg-citing entertainment we’ve got plenty more to keep the little ones entertained including:
- A self-led bird egg trail
- Watch the lambs being fed by our livestock team at 10am and 2pm each day
- Pick up a bird spotter sheet from our sensory garden and see what birds you can spot on your visit
May Half Term
25th May – 2nd June
Gather the whole family and head to Sacrewell this May half term, for a totally t-rex-iffic day out.
Join our intrepid rangers from Immersive Experiences on a quest to discover dinosaur fossils and bones in our sandpit, pond dip for prehistoric critters in our mill stream and stomp, roar and swish your tail in our dinosaur parade with Corey the Dinosaur (fancy dress welcome).
Learn the history of these prehistoric creatures with our amazing dino-facts and race our baby dinosaurs in our dino-duck race.
